Chichen Itza

Journey into the jungles of the Yucatan and you can literally stumble across ruins from the great Mayan Civilization. Chief among these ruins is Chitzen Itza. You can stand on the top of the central pyramid and survey the surrounding jungle. Popping up here and there above the treetops are remanents of this once-great city.
